Job summary

Rezult Group in the United States is seeking an Accounting Manager Consultant to support our finance team. The role focuses on leading the month-end close, reviewing entries, and ensuring accurate reporting across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of accounting with at least 1 year of leadership experience and CPA preferred. This consultant position offers opportunities to influence processes and internal controls while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience with at least 1+ year of management experience
• Experience from a large volume environment
• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reporting deliverables.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by accounting staff to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, expense accruals, and prepaid expense amortization, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
• Oversee intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliation of intercompany balances, investigation of discrepancies, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate eliminations and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and streamline accounting operations and month-end close procedures.
• Perform ad hoc accounting projects and other duties as assigned.
