Baker Tilly is seeking an experienced Manager to join our outsourced client accounting practice. In this role, you will work in a cloud-based environment and serve as an Accounting Manager for multiple clients across the country, working with a team of professionals.

This position is responsible for providing our client organizations with best-in-class service and financial expertise, including the preparation of periodic financial reports, maintaining controls to mitigate risk, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Public accounting or BPO firm experience required.
• Five (5) plus years of progressively responsible accounting experience required.
• Experience with not-for-profit clients is required.
• GAAP knowledge and strong accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide exceptional service to clients including accounting and advisory services.
• Manage production of monthly, quarterly, and financial reports and benchmarking.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Coordinate workflows between offices and audit/tax functions.
• Coach, train, and mentor staff on client service, tax, and accounting matters.
• Oversee current client engagement teams.
• Lead with teamwork and proper training and mentoring.
