Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will manage the monthly close process, general ledger activity, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while partnering with leadership across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Experience with month-end close.
• Proficient Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, MS Dynamics).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end close process
• Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure accurate account activity
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
• Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Analyze variances and investigate unusual activity
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure policy compliance
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits
• Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and procedures
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and other departments on accounting matters
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements
