Job summary

Edge Eyewear is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting function from Layton, Utah. You will own the month-end close, deliver timely financial reporting, and oversee GL, reconciliations, and intercompany activity.

You will mentor the accounting team, implement process improvements, and partner with leadership on financial matters. CPA is a plus, Odoo experience preferred, with a growth-minded, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience leading and developing an accounting team.
• Strong general ledger accounting and reconciliations experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations.
• Understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience; Odoo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare and deliver timely monthly financial reporting to leadership.
• Oversee GL, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and other close activities.
• Manage accounting across multiple entities, including consolidations and intercompany activity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Improve processes and internal controls; support audits and tax filings.
