Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. seeks an experienced senior accountant to assist in managing the agency's fiscal functions, support audits, and maintain fixed asset records.

This role involves reviewing ledgers, preparing statements, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. You will supervise accounting staff, coordinate with external auditors, and assist the Administration & Finance Director on special projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in related field with over three years of accounting experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review A/P, A/R, cash receipts, and GL entries for accuracy and post invoices.
• Perform general ledger audits/analyses and adjust journal entries as needed.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for the Board with the Finance Director.
• Audit petty cash and reconcile bank statements and GL accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset records and conduct annual asset inventory.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit.
• Ensure timely filing of reports to external entities and payroll tax audits.
• Assist in supervising Accountant and Payroll/Assistant Accountant staff.
