Job summary

NOW CFO is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our client’s team in West Jordan, Utah. This is a true hands-on leadership role where you’ll run the day-to-day accounting function, guide a small and supportive team, and be a trusted partner to senior leadership. There is also an opportunity to grow into a Controller role.

The position is hybrid (1-2 days in office) with responsibilities including month-end close, audits, cash management, fixed assets, and tax support.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership to manage day-to-day accounting.
• Experience guiding small accounting teams.
• Ability to partner with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close.
• Prepare for the annual audit.
• Manage cash and reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed assets.
• Support tax preparation with the outside CPA.
• Manage property tax filings (UT, WY, ID).
• Prepare annual reports and 1099s.
• Set up new stores, including bank accounts and licenses.
• Serve as backup for AP, payroll, and sales.
