Atrium Staffing LLC is assisting a manufacturing client in New Jersey in hiring an Accounting Manager. The role leads the accounting department, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting and month-end close processes, with oversight of staff and collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of accounting experience (2 in a supervisory role), manufacturing exposure, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a proven ability to drive process improvements and accurate

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 in a supervisor role.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budgets, and providing variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Manage, train, and mentor accounting staff. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure departmental efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial operations and reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Our client is looking to add an Accounting Manager with a background in manufacturing and strong GAAP and month end experience to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$110k - $120k

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the accounting department’s operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This role involves supervising accounting staff, managing financial processes, and collaborating with other departments to support business objectives.
