Medica Health Management Inc. is seeking an Experienced Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations in Southlake, TX.

This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strong controls across the general ledger, payroll, AP/AR, and month-end close. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, and strong GAAP knowledge.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the organization's daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial controls. This position manages general accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month-end and year-end close, budgeting support, and financial reporting.

The Accounting Manager ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate financial records. This role works closely with leadership to support financial planning, improve accounting processes, and provide timely financial information to assist with operational and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
