Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on SAP experience required, including SAP Material Ledger.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with treasury operations, cash management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, production reporting, and inventory valuation.
• Familiarity with internal controls and regulatory compliance; SOX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, prepare and review journal entries, and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support daily treasury operations, manage cash flow activities, and develop cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Assist with financing arrangements and coordinate loan renewals.
• Prepare and support U.S. GAAP financial statements, disclosures, and related reporting.
• Partner with operational teams on production reporting, cost accounting, and inventory valuation using SAP Material Ledger.
• Evaluate balance sheet accruals and deferrals for accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
• Support corporate insurance renewals and claims processing.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and assist with SOX initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and reporting.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Associate Manager, Accounting to support the accounting and finance team with financial reporting, treasury operations, month-end close, and cost accounting activities. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening internal controls, and improving accounting processes. The ideal candidate has strong SAP experience, including SAP Material Ledger, along with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and cash management.

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment.
• Hands‑on SAP experience is required, including SAP Material Ledger.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, month‑end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with treasury operations, cash management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, production reporting, and inventory valuation.
• Familiarity with internal controls and regulatory compliance; SOX experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• CPA certification and experience with corporate insurance renewals or claims are a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate findings to management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively across teams, and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
