We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing financial reporting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively.

Duties

• Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Lead the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Implement accrual accounting practices to maintain accurate financial records.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff on financial concepts and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and financial management principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
