Job summary

LHH is partnering with a valued client in Orlando to identify a hands-on Accounting Manager who will lead the accounting function, ensure accurate financial and project reporting, and partner with operational leadership to support growth.

This role oversees the general ledger, month-end close, job costing and WIP reporting, and collaborates with operations on profitability. It also drives budgeting, cash flow, audits, and process improvements for strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop accounting team members.
• Manage the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Oversee daily accounting operations.
• Manage construction accounting, including job costing and WIP reporting.
• Partner with operations to monitor project performance and profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and audit requirements.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
