Job summary

Connect Search, LLC, a West Texas manufacturing company, seeks an hands-on Accounting Manager/Controller to build the financial foundation for its growth. You will own day-to-day accounting across multiple entities, ensure accurate records in QuickBooks, and drive month-end close with strong controls.

You will partner with leadership to support budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and intercompany transactions while implementing scalable accounting processes for a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple entities.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Oil & gas industry experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Self-starter who enjoys building processes rather than simply maintaining them.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple legal entities.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records using QuickBooks.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure clean, organized books and strong financial controls.
• Assist with financial reporting and management reporting.
• Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and forecasting.
• Partner with external CPA firms during tax preparation and annual reviews.
• Identify process improvements and help implement scalable accounting procedures.
• Support operational leaders by providing accurate financial information for decision-making.
