Qualifications include a 4-year degree in accounting/finance/business and at least 5 years of accounting experience, with QuickBooks proficiency and relocation assistance available.

We are seeking candidates to interview for the position of Accounting Managere for a privately held company in the Hampton, VA area that owns and manages apartment communities across the Southeastern United States. The primary responsibilities of the role are:

• Personal property tax returns
• Business licenses and renewals
• Annual reports and other corporate filings
• Multi-entity accounting and intercompany activity
• Understanding entity structures and ownership
• Quarterly lender reporting and compliance
• First-level review of financial statements
• Preparation of financial statements and supporting information for lenders
• Preparation of 1099’s for Corporate entities

To be qualified, you must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration and at least 5 years of accounting experience including roles at or above Senior Staff Accountant. Candidates must also have Quickbooks experience.

Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates willing to relocate.
