Job summary

Tideri GmbH seeks an Accounting Manager for its Leesburg, VA office to lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The role covers GL reconciliations, lease accounting, consolidations, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and inventory accounting, in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will mentor staff and drive process improvements to strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Technical exposure to consolidations and leases preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in private and blended accounting environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts while maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Support technical accounting matters, including lease accounting, consolidations, and other complex accounting transactions.
• Oversee fixed assets, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and related financial activities.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts by preparing and reviewing reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost allocations, and operational alignment.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing required documentation and facilitating successful audit completion.
• Enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and controls.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control policies.
