What is this role about?

The Accounting Manager is a self-starter capable of overseeing accounting operations and managing multiple sets of financial books. This is a remote position but may require travel to the Miami, FL office as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Oversee daily accounting operations and team management
2. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
3. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
4. Train and mentor accounting staff
5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
6. Optimize accounting systems and processes for efficiency
7. Assist with audits as needed
8. Manage state and local taxes
