Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an Accounting Manager who will take hands-on command of day-to-day accounting operations and own the financial machinery. The ideal candidate blends strong GAAP knowledge with practical execution, identifies inefficiencies, and implements lasting solutions.

You will lead consolidation of multiple entities, manage intercompany activity, and drive a scalable close process while partnering with leadership to optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Process-driven mentality with a track record of maximizing efficiencies.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment and balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GL, reconciliations, payroll, AP, AR and day-to-day activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting and financial reporting for entities.
• Drive the month-end close process.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Consolidate multiple entities, intercompany activity, shared services, eliminations.
• Compile reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership to maximize cash flow.
• Transform accounting workflows using ERP, automate tasks, and SOPs.
• Design and implement internal control frameworks.
• Coach and elevate junior staff.

• Responsible for all day to day financial activities including maintaining GL, reconciliations, payroll, AP, AR
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting and financial reporting for assigned entities.
• Drive the month end close process.
• Prepare accurate, GAAP compliant financial statements
• Manage the consolidation of multiple operational entities, accounting for intercompany activity, shared services, and formal eliminations.
• Compile reporting packages providing complete transparency to executive leadership
• Work with leadership to maximize cash flow
• Transform accounting workflows by leveraging the ERP system, automating recurring manual tasks, and building scalable standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Design and formalize tight internal control frameworks
• Guide, coach, and elevate junior accounting staff

Ideal profile includes:
