Evlo AI is seeking an Accounting Manager to own core financial operations under US GAAP and SOX, ensuring SEC reporting readiness. You will lead month-end close, supervise GL/AP/AR/payroll, and collaborate with exec leadership on budgets and forecasts.

The role requires a CPA, deep technical GAAP knowledge, and proven ability to scale accounting processes within a tech company. NetSuite and Workday experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in tech, including public accounting and industry.
• Active CPA license with deep technical command of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting.
• Experience scaling accounting processes and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Workday ERP systems; strong data analytics skills.

About The Role

The Accounting Manager owns the core financial operations, ensuring rigorous adherence to US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting frameworks for a high-growth technology environment.

The role directs month-end close processes, oversees financial controls, and collaborates with executive leadership to deliver accurate financial statements and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in accordance with US GAAP
• Oversee SOX compliance frameworks, internal controls, and audit readiness initiatives
• Prepare SEC filings, financial statements, and technical accounting memos for complex transactions
• Supervise general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations
• Partner with FP&A and executive leadership on variance analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Evaluate and implement scalable financial systems, ERP tools, and automation workflows

What We Are Looking For

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, combining public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry experience at a tech company
• Active CPA license required with a deep technical command of US GAAP, SOX internal controls, and SEC reporting
• Advanced proficiency with modern ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday) and advanced data analytics tools
• Proven track record of scaling accounting processes, reducing close cycle times, and cross-functional leadership
• Bonus: Experience managing IPO readiness, technical revenue recognition (ASC 606), or M&A integration
