Evlo AI is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations grounded in US GAAP, SOX, and SEC frameworks. You will partner with finance and leadership to scale financial systems, streamline the close, and maintain audit-ready records in a high-growth tech environment.

The role requires 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, a CPA license, and hands-on ERP expertise (NetSuite/Workday) with a focus on accurate reporting and robust controls.

• Active CPA license with deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday) and data visualization tools.
• Strong project management skills with track record of optimizing month-end close timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under US GAAP.
• Design and maintain internal controls compliant with SOX across revenue and expense cycles.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis in ERP systems.
• Coordinate external audits, manage tax filings, ensure SEC reporting readiness.
• Partner with FP&A and technical accounting to evaluate complex transactions and revenue recognition.
• Automate accounting workflows to scale financial operations.

About The Role

The role leads accounting operations, ensuring rigorous financial compliance, accurate reporting, and robust internal controls grounded in US GAAP, SOX, and SEC frameworks. The accounting manager will partner closely with finance and executive leadership to scale financial systems, streamline the close process, and maintain audit-ready records in a high-growth tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP


• Design, implement, and maintain internal financial controls compliant with SOX frameworks across all revenue and expense cycles


• Oversee general ledger maintenance, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis using ERP systems such as NetSuite


• Coordinate external audit procedures, manage tax filings, and ensure adherence to SEC reporting standards


• Partner with FP&A and technical accounting teams to evaluate complex transactions and revenue recognition policies


• Automate accounting workflows and tooling to scale financial operations efficiently

What We Are Looking For

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or high-growth tech corporate finance environments


• Active CPA license required with deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC regulations


• Demonstrated hands-on experience with modern ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday) and advanced data visualization tools


• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of optimizing month-end close timelines


• Bonus: Experience with public company readiness, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and SQL for financial data extraction
