Qualifications

• Strong experience with technical accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks.
• Experience with financial consolidations, reconciliations, and complex reporting processes.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will serve as a key technical accounting resource across a mid-to-large global business, supporting complex accounting matters, financial reporting, and internal control activities. This role requires deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, along with hands-on experience researching and applying accounting guidance, supporting new standards, and partnering across global Finance and Accounting teams. The ideal candidate brings an active CPA, Big 4 experience, SAP expertise, and experience within a mid-to-large global organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting processes.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to accounting team members and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active U.S. CPA license required.
• Big 4 public accounting experience required.
• SAP experience required.
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience within public accounting and/or corporate accounting environments.
• Strong experience with technical accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience researching and implementing new accounting standards and technical guidance.Experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Experience supporting accounting and reporting within a mid-to-large global or multinational organization.
• Experience with financial consolidations, reconciliations, and complex reporting processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis skills.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or chemical industry experience preferred.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in West Houston.
