SSG OF GEORGIA LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting for the organization in Georgia, USA. The role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

The position involves managing general ledger reconciliations, coordinating month-end close, and driving process improvements across accounting functions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (internships or previous roles may be considered).
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Prepare and assist with financial audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and related documentation.
• Monitor and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, including variance analysis and budget reviews.
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support company operations.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting functions

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the accounting department with daily accounting functions, managing the team, financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
