Cutters Edge Total Landscape Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close. The role partners with operational leadership to ensure accurate financials and strong internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on people manager with 3–5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a service or multi-location environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel to Florida branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including GL, reconciliations, AP/AR, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, and operational financial review.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audit support and assist with tax, fixed asset, and compliance activities.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff while improving processes and reporting efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support business objectives.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Cutter's Edge is searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting, close processes, internal controls, and team development. This role partners closely with operational leadership to ensure accurate financials, process consistency, and strong business support across a fast-paced environment. Our Accounting Manager is a full-time, in-office position Mon-Fri reporting to the Director of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, and month-end close
• Prepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, and operational financial review
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate audit support and assist with tax, fixed asset, and compliance-related activities
• Supervise and develop accounting staff while improving processes and reporting efficiency
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support business objectives
• Other responsonsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or service-based environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is ideal
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, accrual accounting, and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/accounting system experience required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to travel to branch locations in south Florida
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
