Job summary

Cutters Edge is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the close processes and internal controls. This full‑time, in‑office role reports to the Director of Accounting and emphasizes hands‑on leadership and team development in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel/ERP skills to manage

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multi-location or service-based settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong financial reporting, reconciliations, accruals, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/accounting system experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel to south Florida branches.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, and month-end close
• Prepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, and operational financial review
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate audit support and assist with tax, fixed asset, and compliance activities
• Supervise and develop accounting staff while improving processes and reporting efficiency
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support business objectives
• Other responsibilities as needed

This role partners closely with operational leadership to ensure accurate financials, process consistency, and strong business support across a fast-paced environment.
