Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably with increasing responsibility.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Experience with job costing or project-based accounting preferred.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Manage and improve job costing to help track project profitability.
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections.

• Assist with cash-flow forecasting and budgeting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and internal accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with outside CPA on taxes, year-end reporting, and other accounting needs.
• Provide management with useful financial information for business decisions.

Urban Earth Landscaping is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for our growing landscape company.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping the books accurate, improving accounting processes, staying on top of cash flow, and helping management understand how the business is performing.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow reports
