Job summary

Segrera Associates seeks an Accounting Manager to lead accounting across multiple locations within the territory. You will oversee month-end close, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls, and review balance sheet reconciliations to support accurate reporting.

Your role involves coordinating audits, managing journal entries, and supporting internal teams with inquiries, while maintaining strong internal controls and timely financial analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with modern cloud-based ERP platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily accounting operations and month-end close processes.
• Review and prepare journal entries related to cash, accounts receivable, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile high-volume cash, receivables, and liability accounts to the general ledger.
• Perform treasury-related activities, including ACH and check processing reviews.
• Analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement results, identify variances, and prepare necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate and support external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and requested documentation.
• Assist internal teams and customers with accounting-related inquiries.
• Ensure timely and professional handling of customer correspondence.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and segregation of duties.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and participate in special projects.
