What We Are Looking For:

We’re hiring an Accounting Manager—someone with 0-4 years of accounting experience who wants to work in an entrepreneurial, positive environment.

This position is in our Boulder, Colorado office. It is not virtual or remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounting including: AR, AP, payroll, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, expense reporting, corporate credit card reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Supplemental weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
• Basic HR duties (including managing health and dental insurance, 401k, Unemployment, Workers Compensation, and supporting annual reviews).
• A variety of office management projects that will comprise about 10-15% of the role.
• In addition, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter, be able to work independently, and enthusiastically tackle diverse challenges.
• Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality in all interactions and document management.
• This position reports to the Chief Accounting Officer for the family of companies.

The ideal candidate:

• Possesses an unrelenting positive attitude.
• Is detail-oriented and highly organized, with an efficient approach to managing projects of varying complexity with urgency and timeliness.
• Has a strong, entrepreneurial work ethic.
• Has experience with Excel
• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is mandatory.
• BS in accounting preferred

Compensation:

• $50,000 – $75,000 depending on experience
