Job description

Plays a key role in carrying out essential accounting and financial tasks while supervising related functions within the organization. This role ensures adherence to relevant tax laws and accounting standards, and oversees the accurate preparation and submission of required financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a solid grasp of accounting practices and procedures.

Job Functions:

• Support the creation of all required financial reports, ensuring they are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Create and apply treasury guidelines and processes aimed at optimizing returns for both the company and its shareholders.
• Monitor the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Examine financial information to identify trends, patterns, or irregularities, and suggest appropriate corrective measures when needed.
• Prepare and review various audit schedules and provide requested information to company’s internal and external auditors.
• Study relevant US GAAP and tax laws to design and enforce financial policies and procedures that ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Offer financial advice and support to department leaders, ensuring that all financial decisions align with the organization’s overall strategic objectives.
• Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred
• Certified Public Accountant CPA license
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, state, and federal tax laws
• Strong time management and organizational skills
