The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing core accounting operations, including month‑end and year‑end closing, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit and tax support. This role partners closely with the Director of Finance and cross‑functional leaders on special projects, process improvements, and new business initiatives. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity healthcare environment.
This is a hybrid position based out of our office in Quincy, MA.
Demonstrated mastery of GAAP, financial reporting, and multi‑entity accounting, with the ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues.
Ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff accountants and shared service teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial close and reporting processes, with a proactive approach to process optimization.
Ability to analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and translate data into clear insights for leadership decision‑making.
Effective partner across finance, operations, and clinical teams, with the ability to gather information, align stakeholders, and drive results without direct authority.
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a high‑volume environment.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
Comfort operating in a dynamic environment, embracing change, and supporting evolving business needs and system enhancements.
Pay range for this position is $70,000-$132,000 + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
