Job summary

LHH in Austin partners with a public services organization to hire an Accounting Supervisor who will own the Revenue accounting cycle end to end, including billing, collections, revenue recognition, and payment posting.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on driving process and technology improvements, building a collaborative team, and ensuring accuracy in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in accounting, business, or a related field, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• A degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is a plus and may offset some required experience
• CPA license or CPA candidacy required
• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with both internal and external partners
• A track record of maintaining strong internal controls and accuracy in a high-volume accounting environment

• Lead day-to-day operations for the billing and payment applications team, keeping processes running smoothly and accurately
• Review billing and accounting entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Partner with internal business units to communicate on upcoming billing changes and ensure documentation stays accurate
