Job summary

Air Culinaire Worldwide is seeking an Accounting Lead in Tampa, FL to oversee daily AP/AR functions, ensure accuracy, and support the month-end close. The role provides leadership to clerical staff and drives process improvements across payables and receivables.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in accounting, ERP experience, and strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate’s degree in accounting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and general accounting procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interpret financial procedures and write clear reports.
• Ability to manage multiple large projects and work cross-functionally.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Review vendor invoices for coding accuracy and authorization.
• Manage payment processing (checks, ACH, wires) and vendor relationships.
• Ensure 1099 reporting compliance and vendor master data accuracy.
• Monitor AP aging, cash disbursement planning, and collections.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Provide guidance to clerical staff and train junior staff.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and external partners.
