Job summary

Sentry invites you to join our Accounting internship, offering hands-on experience with mentorship from a dedicated professional. You’ll partner with leaders across Finance, building skills through real project work and networking opportunities in a hybrid environment.

You will learn across finance teams, prepare exhibits and disclosures, and help automate reporting while supporting accurate ledger reconciliation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field.
• Planned graduation date between May 2028 and December 2029.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Working towards CPA eligibility highly preferred.
• Sentry does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, or H-1 visas for practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn about multiple Finance teams via direct project work with different areas.
• Prepare a variety of financial statement exhibits and reporting disclosures.
• Review and reconcile financial statements to general ledger data and data sources.
• Assist with automation of financial statements and reports.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of financial transaction processing.
• Troubleshoot data reconciliation issues.
• Assist with support, maintenance, and enhancement of accounting processes and systems.
