Job summary

Sentry offers an actuarial internship in Stevens Point, WI (or Madison) with a mentor to help you learn the actuarial role and network with leadership at social events. You will gain hands-on experience, work on data compilation, rate adequacy monitoring, and risk management under guidance from experienced actuaries.

The program supports a hybrid schedule: work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and collaborate in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with housing and meal stipends depending on

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics or related field preferred.
• At least one actuarial exam complete is preferred.
• Obtain a minimum in-major GPA of 3.0.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 through May 2029.
• Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience

Job description

In this internship, you'll gain hands‑on experience and work with a mentor to learn all about the Actuarial role and network with leadership at social events. With the actuary internship, you will work with a mentor to learn how actuaries play a vital role in the company’s success. You will also get opportunities to network by attending diverse social events and meeting leadership in multiple areas. This position will have the opportunity to intern in either our Madison or Stevens Point, WI office location.

What You’ll Do
