Job summary

Shure's Accounting Intern program offers a 12-week summer experience combining hands-on accounting tasks with exposure to audit and year-end activities. You will support the Accounting Department by coordinating subsidiary requests, creating and verifying spreadsheets, and pulling source documentation.

Based in Niles, IL, the internship offers hybrid work options and a housing stipend for onsite interns relocating to Illinois.

Qualifications

• 2 years of study completed toward a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting
• Must have at least two semesters of Accounting Theory
• Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookup, filter/sort, pivot tables)
• Proven analytical and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to new situations and challenges
• Professional, positive attitude
• SAP experience desirable but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with year end audit support including pulling source documents
• Assist with fixed asset creation and reporting
• Assist month end close processes including accrual identification
• Assist AP invoice processing and vendor payment processing
