Job summary

Kao is seeking an Accounting Intern or Co-op to support General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cost accounting tasks in the Americas region. You will assist with journal entries, reconciliations, invoice processing, and report generation in SAP, collaborating across departments to ensure accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma and actively pursuing a related college degree, with proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Actively pursue Accounting/Finance degree with minimum of 2 years at accredited college or university.
• Proficient use with MS Office suite applications.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• SAP or other accounting system experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accounts in SAP.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
• Record documents in SAP by vendor account and ensure accuracy.
• Complete daily cash reconciliations and report cash movements.
• Generate financial reports in SAP or other systems.
