Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred; 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• One to three years of experience in an accounting environment is preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Must be comfortable with computerized accounting systems and learn new systems.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to work with frequent, established deadlines.
• MS Office (Excel/Word) and SAP knowledge is desirable; pivot tables helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze project-based accounting schedules and adjust entries.
• Support the Accounts Payable function and provide additional capacity as needed.
• Assist in the monthly close and reporting cycle including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist recording data in OneStream consolidation software.
• Use SAP to perform tasks.
• Ensure AP/AR transactions are reported promptly and accurately.
• Assist other accounting functions and projects as requested.
• Assist in the billing process to prepare invoices for products and services.
• Support treasury operations.
• Perform internal audits of expense reporting and reimbursement procedures.
• Assist in data collection for external audits.
• Ensure tasks meet quality, EH&S standards and procedures.
• Perform financial analysis for management and complete projects.
