Salt River Project (SRP) offers a College Intern position in Tempe, AZ to gain practical accounting experience. Interns work under professionals, applying academic knowledge while supporting departmental projects and SRP operations.

The role includes ICFR testing, GL reconciliations, and potential involvement in audits, with an emphasis on developing technical and professional skills. The program requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred enrollment in an Accounting major.

Qualificações

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and software navigation preferred.
• College students majoring in Accounting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with Internal Controls of Financial Reporting (ICFR) self assessment testing.
• Provide support to accounting staff through ICFR self assessment testing.
• Assist with internal control compliance activities including SOC1 and general ledger account reconciliation reviews.
• Execute accounting transactions using accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with scheduled financial and statutory audits.
• Perform other duties and functions as required.
