The American Airlines Center is seeking an Accounting Intern to support the Accounting Manager with hands-on learning during live events in Dallas. You will assist with cash, ticket, and food & beverage reports, and input end-of-month journal entries.

Gain exposure toAccounts Receivable/Payable, accruals, asset schedules, and ad hoc projects while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced arena environment.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; other business concentrations acceptable but accounting preferred.
• Internship may qualify for academic credit through college/university.
• Student must be eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorships).
• Should be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.
• Must provide 2 character references (not from family or friends).
• Background check may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in daily/weekly/monthly financial reports related to cash, tickets, and food & beverage from events at the AAC.
• Input end-of-month journal entries into the general ledger.
• Engage with accounts receivable/payable, accrual accounting, and reconciliations.
• Maintain financial records for expense tracking spreadsheets.
• Understand depreciation and fixed assets schedules.
