Job summary

Real Radiology LLC is seeking an Accounting Intern in Omaha, NE. This part-time role supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, journal entries, and financial reporting while gaining hands-on experience.

You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate records, assist in month-end closings, and prepare financial reports. The position offers flexible scheduling to fit your class commitments.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and entry of journal entries into the accounting system.
• Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Help maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions.
• Maintain financial records, including electronic filing and document management.
• Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for audits.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of schedules and reports for internal and external audits.
• Help monitor and analyze company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Assist with expense reports and cost analyses.
• Participate in special accounting projects assigned by the accounting team, including process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis to support the accounting team in decision-making.
• Engage in learning opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Attend meetings and training sessions to gain insights into the overall financial operations of the company.
