Kidwell is seeking a motivated accounting intern to join the team in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role offers part-time hours during the school year and full-time hours in the summer, providing hands-on support to staff accountants.

You will contribute to billing, revenue tracking, and maintaining financial records, with tasks tailored to your abilities and department needs. This internship emphasizes learning and practical experience in corporate accounting.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Honesty, dependability, organization, and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are required.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; basic accounting procedures understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer billing and progress-draw invoicing for large construction projects.
• Assist with tracking revenue targets and overhead costs.
• Maintain accurate accounting documents, records, and reports.
• Research and resolve documentation problems or discrepancies.
• Complete special projects as needed.
