Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company is seeking an Accounting Intern for Spring 2027 to assist in data analysis, general accounting duties, and KPI tracking. The intern gains hands-on experience with accounts payable, fixed asset capitalization, and audit preparatory work.

Responsibilities include supporting project teams, preparing PowerPoint decks for meetings, and participating in process improvements while ensuring accurate reconciliations and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate business-related degree.
• GPA of at least 3.0 (overall).
• Must be enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Availability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
• Must attach an unofficial transcript.
• May need to complete a substance abuse test before the work term.

Responsibilities

• Support data analysis and general accounting tasks, including reporting to management.
• Assist Accounts Payable and track KPIs; support fixed asset capitalization and audit lists.
• Perform account reconciliations as needed and monitor project efficiencies.
• Contribute to process improvements and digitization efforts.
• Provide general administrative support and document preparation for meetings.
