Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC in Spartanburg seeks a Financial Controlling Intern for Spring 2027. You will support the Controlling Department with analysis, reporting and steering, gaining exposure to a manufacturing finance environment.

Responsibilities include creating reports and presentations for financial transparency, assisting with forecast reporting, analyzing technology costs, and supporting plant controllers. On-site, full-time internship with required transcript and compliance steps.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate business-related degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical and critical thinking.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• THE WORK TERM DATES AREMay 18th– August 7th, 2026.

Responsibilities

• The Controlling Intern will be support of Controlling Department in Analysis, Reporting, and Steering. Exposure to manufacturing finance environment.
• Exposure to Financial reporting, Analysis and Steering.
• Supports Controlling group with requisition steering, creation of reports and presentations to ensure financial transparency and decision making.
• Analyses technology costs to support controlling group.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Support Controlling of Plant Spartanburg Departments and Technologies.
• Support regular forecast reporting.
• Forecast Evaluation.
• Monthly Controlling.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
