Clarity Care is seeking an Accounting Intern to support our Accounting Department with data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This hands-on role provides experience across accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and audits in a nonprofit setting.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or recently completed a degree in accounting or related field, with strong Excel skills and a keen attention to detail. Wisconsin background checks are required, and competitive benefits are offered.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and general business practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with departmental projects and daily accounting operations, ensuring work is accurate and timely.
• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger.
• Assist in processing and reconciling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts to identify trends and opportunities.
• Enter and maintain financial information in accounting systems accurately.
• Participate in special projects and process improvements.
