Job summary

Trade Republic, Europe’s leading digital savings platform, invites applicants for a finance internship in Berlin. You will assist in financial assessment of new product launches, help define HGB and IFRS accounting policies, and support annual financial statements and audits.

We seek current Bachelor's or Master's candidates in Finance/Accounting/Controlling who are fluent in English and German, self-starters, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting and/or Controlling.
• Fluent in English and German; strong communication skills are essential.
• First practical experience in relevant fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on strategic projects, including the financial assessment of new product launches.
• Contribute to defining HGB and IFRS accounting requirements and assist in developing new accounting policies.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and respond to audit inquiries.
• Coordinate with finance & accounting teams and key stakeholders across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Collaborate on strategic projects, including the financial assessment of new product launches
• Contribute to defining HGB and IFRS accounting requirements for innovative business models and assist in developing and formalizing new accounting policies that drive compliance and clarity
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and respond to audit-related inquiries
• Your touch-points will include the finance & accounting team and selected stakeholders across the organization

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Finance, Accounting and / or Controlling
• Fluent in English and German
• First practical experience in relevant fields is a plus
• Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization
• You are an outstanding team-player, detail-oriented, able to prioritize, organize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a hyper-growth environment
