Minnesota State College Southeast invites applications for a faculty position in accounting. Successful candidates demonstrate commitment to interdisciplinary perspectives and scholarly activity while advancing the college mission.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, delivering diverse course formats, conducting classroom research and assessment, mentoring students, and serving on committees. A strong record in teaching and ongoing professional development is expected.

Formación

• Education requirements include a Master’s degree in accounting or a related field with at least 16 graduate credits in accounting.
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a CPA or CMA certificate is required.
• Two full-time years of verified related paid work experience in accounting.
• Recency requirement: one year of recent work experience or two years of teaching experience in the credential field within five years.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in department and college curriculum development.
• Deliver classroom, web-enhanced and/or online course instruction.
• Conduct classroom research and other assessment/evaluation activities.
• Mentor and advise students.
• Participate in committee assignments and college-wide initiatives; participate in department accreditation and review.
• Engage in scholarly and other professional development activities.
