Job summary

The role supports HR/benefits administration and office management in a small-firm environment.

Responsibilities include month-end closings, coordinating with the outside CPA, and preparing budget analyses. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in bookkeeping and accounting operations.
• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll processing, and month-end reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping duties, starting with accounts payable and invoices.
• Handle accounts receivable, invoicing, aging, and collections.
• Prepare routine financial reports for leadership (income statement, balance sheet).
• Record month-end and year-end closing entries; coordinate with CPA and budgeting.
• Maintain ledgers and supporting documentation.
