Qualifications

• 3+ years of related accounting experience.
• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GAAP and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs from departments into journal entries.
• Provide technical advice on accounting issues.
• Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Recognize long term implications of entry and update databases as needed.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams on audits and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with University policies and regulations.
