Job summary

Singularity, an aerospace and defense startup headquartered in Gardena, CA, seeks an Accounting & Finance Operations Analyst to own day-to-day financial operations, accounting-system administration, and data hygiene. You will manage QuickBooks Online, Ramp, payroll integrations, and support ERP transitions.

This is a hands-on role focusing on data integrity, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in accounting, finance operations, financial systems, or a related role.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with Ramp, Brex, Rippling, or similar systems preferred.
• Experience participating in an ERP implementation or financial-system migration strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Manufacturing, aerospace, defense, hardware, or R&D experience preferred.
• CPA not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day QuickBooks Online workflows: coding, matching, reconciliation, and maintenance.
• Administer Ramp workflows, mappings, projects, and integrations.
• Maintain project, vendor, customer, and COA data.
• Support accounts payable, expense processing, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Identify and resolve duplicate transactions and mapping errors.
• Support project-level reporting and allocation of payroll and other costs.
• Support ERP evaluation, data migration, and process documentation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, controls, and recurring reports.
• Assist Finance leadership with P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and budgeting reports.

Role Overview

The Accounting & Finance Operations Analyst owns the day-to-day financial operations, accounting-system administration, transaction integrity, and financial data hygiene of the company. This role keeps QuickBooks, Ramp, payroll integrations, project accounting, and related financial systemsaccurateand scalable while supporting the company's transition toward a more sophisticated ERP environment.

This is a hands-on accounting and systems role. It doesnotown proposal pricing, contract negotiations, or proposal management.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting workflows in QuickBooks Online, including transaction coding, matching, reconciliation, and account maintenance.
• Administer Ramp accounting workflows, rules, mappings, projects, classes, and integrations.
• Maintainaccurateproject, charge-code, vendor, customer, and Chart of Accounts data.
• Support accounts payable, expense processing, bank and credit-card reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• Identifyand resolve duplicate transactions, integration errors, incorrect mappings, and accounting discrepancies.
• Support project-level financial reporting and allocation of payroll, software, travel, equipment, R&D, and other costs.
• Support ERP evaluation, implementation, data migration, account mapping, master-data setup, testing, and process documentation.
• Develop andmaintainfinance and accounting SOPs, controls, and recurring reporting processes.
• Support Finance leadership with P&L,balance-sheet,cash-flow, project-spend, and budget-versus-actual reporting.

Ideal Background

• 3-6 years in accounting, finance operations, financial systems, ora related role.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with Ramp, Brex, Rippling, or similar systems preferred.
• Experienceparticipatingin an ERP implementation or financial-system migration strongly preferred.

• Exposure to project accounting, inventory, fixed assets, job costing, or manufacturing accounting helpful.

Compensation

• Salary: $110000- $140000 + Equity + Benefits ( Healthcare, Vision, Dental, 401k, and Lunch)
