West Virginia Paving, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking an Accounting and Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience with our vertically integrated operation. You will work with staff to understand financial processes and contribute to day-to-day accounting tasks at a West Virginia site.

From data entry and month-end closings to supporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, this internship offers exposure to multiple facets of the business.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
• First-hand exposure to accounting processes while in school
• Experience with data entry and basic financial reconciliations preferred

Responsibilities

• Working with company staff to determine solutions to common issues.
• Provide clerical support and assist staff with data entry, month-end closings, and reconciliations.
• Learn and assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
