Essity North America Inc. is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support the North America GBS Financial Services team. Based in the Service Excellence Center in Appleton, WI, the role is full-time during the summer and part-time remote during the school year.

You will assist with general accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany invoicing, tax packs, and monthly closes, gaining exposure across Essity’s financial operations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Business major with preference for Accounting or Finance majors.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make informed decisions.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.

Responsabilités

• Balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Monitor and create journal entries to maintain precise financial records.
• Conduct analysis of accounts to identify discrepancies.
• Manage monthly intercompany invoicing processes.
• Handle miscellaneous cash applications and reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
• Assist in weekly freight postings for logistics.
• Conduct initial research related to unclaimed property.
• Support government surveys and reporting.
• Assist with the annual tax package during busy season.
• Perform monthly close procedures and generate financial reports.
• Take on additional tasks as needed by the GBS Finance Manager.
