Qualifications

• 3 years non-teaching experience in accounting.
• 1 year college-level teaching experience preferred.
• Able to teach all accounting courses and possess multimedia instructional knowledge.
• Willing to teach at multiple sites around the city.
• Knowledge of computers and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Teach accounting courses using diverse methodologies and engage students to meet course objectives.
• Develop and use a syllabus for each course and submit to the department chair.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit reports within deadlines.
• Provide academic advising and guidance to students regarding programs and transfer opportunities.
• Participate in professional development and ABET/departmental standards alignment.
• Collaborate with others to support program offerings at multiple centers.
