We are partnering with a rapidly growing, integrated real estate private‑equity and operations platform active across the Sunbelt, Midwest, and East Coast. They are seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Controller to join their team in Boston immediately to maintain financial stability and oversee workflows while they search for a permanent hire.

Base pay range

$38.00/hr - $56.00/hr

This is a temporary role with potential to convert to a permanent role

The Role:

• Step immediately into Controller‑level workflows to ensure operational stability.
• Administer and optimize Yardi Voyager (GL, AP, AR, Job Cost) and AppFolio.
• Manage fund accounting, capital accounts, waterfall distributions, and consolidations.
• Oversee AP workflow governance and internal controls.
• Coordinate with an internal accounting assistant and manage third‑party accounting servicers.
• 7–15+ years of experience in Real Estate Private Equity (REPE), institutional real‑estate accounting, or fund accounting.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Yardi Voyager and AppFolio.
• Deep technical command of fund accounting, waterfalls, and IRR returns.
• Advanced Excel skills (dynamic modeling, macros, automation).
• Ability to operate with structure and precision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ideally a CPA
